Cosmic shifts are happening
This weekend brings many cosmic shifts. The asteroid goddess Pallas Athene stations direct on Saturday, creating a forward motion that will increase throughout the month as more planets shift their movement direct. Pallas Athene has been traveling with Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn in Capricorn since mid January of this year. She is the goddess of the high mind, strategic innovation, intelligence, gender bending, equality, and justice. As she stations direct, she trines both the Virgo Sun and Uranus in Taurus, offering an opportunity for a radical shift in perspective that may be grounded this month.
On Saturday Mercury, the mind-soul bridge who teaches one how to navigate the realms of Spirit and Matter departs one of his two home signs and ingresses into Libra. Much like Pallas Athene, Mercury in Libra stands for justice, that which is equitable, striving for harmony, and artistry in communication. How you think and communicate will now be flavored with an emphasis on logic. Be open to newfound solutions that will heal your personal life, however it is up to you to apply them. Passions, adventure, and romance ignites as Venus moves into Leo this Sunday, September 6th. Venus in Leo relates to others through creative expression and heart centered exchanges. Venus in Leo is majestic, warm, generous, and radiant. Beware of being egocentric, possessive, or domineering in your relationships, and instead encourage your loved ones to shine bright.
Next Wednesday, September 9th Mars turns retro at 6:23 pm EDT. This is one of the key astrological transits of 2020, a true initiation of growth and healing, particularly with the Divine Masculine. Each one of us may rise to the occasion by diving into the work outlined by the house Mars is currently transiting in our astrological charts. Mars is the lower will, the vitality of the body, our sacred energy. Mars in Aries is direct, impulsive, rash, and pioneering. To master this lifeforce it’s important how we wield it, and Mars retrograde offers a time to reflect upon this holy exchange.
Mars is often associated with violence, wars, anger, which can lead to estrangements, breaches in friendship, enemies, lawsuits, theft, stolen belongings, and property. Karmic return is a real thing. This Mars retrograde asks Can you live with spiritual courage? The opportunity is to act with pure instinct, to defend rightful territory with high authority. The key is sovereignty. Mars entered his retrograde shadow on July 25th, will go direct on November 13th, and clear the retrograde shadow on January 2nd, 2021. This transit is massively important and will activate many opportunities for growth personally, ancestrally, and collectively through a series of two more squares to the Capricorn council of Pallas Athene, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto.
