This past Thursday, July 29th Mars planet of action and will power moved into earthy and mutable Virgo. Mars in Virgo wishes for us to assert in a way that is conservative, efficient, disciplined, meticulous, and practical. However, it may be easy to get lost in the details through an attempt to control that which cannot be controlled. The invitation is to pay attention, particularly being mindful to not overreact or be too fault finding.

This transit occurs exactly one week after Venus shifted into Virgo on Mary Magdalene's feast day. Just before the moment of Mars's transition he opposed Jupiter retrograde who has just transited back into Aquarius.

How we find meaning in life is directly tied to our collective reality. True liberation occurs when every human being on Earth has their basic rights for access to clean water, food sovereignty, dignified housing, and holistic health care completely covered.

Although at times it may feel overwhelming of how to enact change in these times, the truth is we all play our part in the collective dance through our everyday choices in regards to where we devote our sacred time, energy, and resources.

As Ceres shifts into Gemini on Saturday, July 31st our collective nurturing takes the form of how we learn together and from one another. The collective North Node in Gemini urges each one of us to think outside of the box. The exchange of ideas, enjoying social pleasures, expanding the intelligence of our minds in a playful and lighthearted way can ease some of the collective tension we are experiencing.

That being said, Mercury is now in passionate, proud, and noble Leo. Our ways of expressing ourselves are on a higher voltage, and have the propensity to come across as egotistical or self-centered. As you interpret others and spread your own experiences, the invitation is to stay centered within your heart space at all times.

With the Moon shifting to the last quarter phase we are beginning to reorient to an intuited future. This is a time to connect with what has been accomplished in this lunar phase that began back on July 9th with the Cancer New Moon, and to sense what we wish to create as we consider August 8th's Leo New Moon.

We are currently within an exceptional magnetic Lion's Gate Portal as the star Sirius broadcasts wisdom through solar frequencies. As we are evolving there is a necessity to be willing to lay down our attachments to the past, to question our own beliefs and dive even deeper into inner work.
