A Butterfly Dark Moon

On this Sunday we enter within the realm of the Dark Moon. The Dark Moon phase weaves throughout your life through various experiences such as the last few hours of sleep before you wake each day, the moments when the Moon is Void of Course, every month when the Moon traverses your twelfth house, and the months before physical death.

This is a potent time of great reflection as we prepare for the Gemini New Moon which is aligned Monday, 30th May at 7:30 am EDT. Gemini New Moons are beautiful times for you to revise your communication and the stories you speak within the world at large. Each thought and word that you utter is ultimately a spell. 

Gemini invokes the power of duality, and how when one explores all sides of any given situation they are educated to step within the realm of unity consciousness. This Gemini New Moon aligns with Mercury retrograde, now traversing the sign of Taurus. As Mercury rules Gemini this places a great emphasis on the need to reflect deeply upon the medicine of the Beltane Faerie Eclipse Portal and all that has been experienced thus far in this Year of the Lovers.  

Ways to access the wisdom include meditation, breathwork, connecting with crystal and plant allies, dreamwork, artistic expression and recordkeeping through journaling. Self care practices that simplify your life will assist with this time of metamorphosis. As you craft space to turn off your electronic devices and tune into nourishing whole foods and live clean water, your ability to bring your highest truths to the surface rises. Keeping the body warm and inviting in candles and uplifting music is also ideal.
