Opportunities During Mercury Retrograde ☿️
We are knee deep in Libra Season with the Sun, Mars, and Mercury retrograde all emphasizing how each one of us is fulfilling a desire to cooperate with others and weave more harmony within this world. Collectively we are sorting through the mental realm of concepts and information that wishes to be infused with creativity, sensuality, and beauty, however we are simultaneously feeling how all of the outer planets continue their retrograde motion, which includes Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Eris.
Opportunities During Mercury Retrograde
Meanwhile, Mercury retrograde is offering an opportunity to revise and review our thought patterns, our speech, and most importantly how we express ourselves in our relationships. This Mercury retrograde spans from 26°to 10° Libra, so that justice and equity may live through our interactions. It's a tall order for these times, so tread lightly, and call forth space before making any decision in this window. Although Mercury stations direct on October 18th, the shadow period will not be complete until November 3rd, which means you have about six weeks of great reflection and hidden truths being revealed. Perhaps a missing link will emerge from this portal of time if you are willing to shift your rhythm.
Venus in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn on Saturday, October 2nd bringing in a moment for grounded passion and pleasure in your life. On Sunday, October 3rd the Libra Sun opposes Chiron in Aries. Just three days prior Mars in Libra also opposed Chiron in Aries. The Sun and Mars are facing off with the maverick healer, that is stirring up core wounds around identity, drive, passion, and the Divine Masculine. The Sun is shining a light on the spaces where opportunities for growth exist for you to birth a whole new commitment to your courage and independence.
Libra New Moon
The Libra New Moon is exact on Wednesday, October 6th at 7:05 am. As the Moon and Sun meet up at 14° Libra, they also marry Mars. All three of these forces are conjunct with the fixed star Algorab which is known to have a fiery, and intense nature. Algorab is connected to both the raven and the snake, and grounded with black onyx. It is believed to be troublesome when aligned with prominent planets.
The majority of New Moons are bountiful times to cast your intentions and spread your seeds of creation. However, considering the placement of the Sun, Moon and Mars to Algorab, and Mercury in the heart of retrograde in the same sign as these spheres, this lunar cycle is best to revise and review your previous intentions, while protecting and preserving your energy. Craft a cozy space, invite in more rest, and romance yourself to take the edge off.
