Something you probably don't know about me...
Since traveling to the holy Navagraha temples that are nestled within Tamil Nadu last year, I have been deeply immersed within planetary magick and how to bring this devotion into every aspect of my life. Today is Mercury day, and upon waking I drew a card from one of my Egyptian oracle decks and received the card that connects to Thejuty. Thejuty is Thoth, and is the origin of Hermes and Mercury.
Over the multitude of pilgrimages I've made to Kemet, I've come to ally with Thejuty in many ways. Although Venus rules my chart, all of my traditional planets answer to Thejuty. Thoth is intimately woven within all aspects of human life, has a deep connection to the lunar cycles, and is said to have invented all of the arts and sciences, namely astrology, astronomy and all forms of writing including hieroglyphics. He is known as 'Master of divine words and sacred writings', and in many ways is the sacred bridge between the realm of humanity and the Neteru. The Neteru are the gods and goddesses, however what many do not fully digest is that they are all aspects of Nature.
Nature is profound and is guiding your sacred path through the cosmos. Even within the culture of modernity, which is becoming even more heavily influenced by technology, one is still able to find the principles of Nature woven into each moment and each thing. For instance, I am writing to you from my desktop which is embedded with crystals. These crystals carry the medicine of storytelling that lives through our bones and the stones of the Earth.
This Thursday we meet the second Balsamic Moon of 2024 as we prepare to welcome in the Chinese New Year of the Dragon. This is a massive turning point for each one of us. For the women who live within Appalachia, I invite you to join us for the Aquarius Dark Moon Women's Wisdom this Thursday 7-9:30 pm EST. We will celebrate the Cross Quarter Season of Imbolc and the Year of the Wood Dragon. This New Moon portal is fresh and a beautiful time to welcome in all frequencies of rejuvenation as we are also beginning a brand new 20 year cycle.
As I discussed in the 2024 Masterclass, this Mythic Mineral Year of the Wood Dragon requires endurance, strategy, an alignment to your stone allies and a deep knowing of time for success. I am just back from Tucson, Arizona where I was studying with an 88th Daoist Master, Jeffrey Yuen, who has been a mentor along my path for many years now. I was so blessed to receive a transmission of the beautiful wisdom for this year and our collective healing.
