A Mystical Pink Moon
The Libran Pink Moon comes to a peak on Saturday morning at 8:37 am EST. This is a time of culmination and fruition from the seeds we cast two weeks ago, with the Pisces New Moon. However as life cycles and spirals we may look back to a year ago, to the Aries New Moon and the journey we have walked since then.
The Moon in “We are” Libra is seeking balance and justice while opposing the Sun in courageous “I am” Aries is here to emerge and express. This lunation is showing us with clarity what is working and what is not working in our lives, particularly in our relationship to ourself and with others. The archetypes of Venus and Mars are activated through the Libra and Aries lenses. Mars is very energized in this Full Moon so it’s essential we consciously work with our will, vitality, anger, rage and repressed emotions.
A theme of 2018 is that if it’s not a hell yes, it's a hell no, and that is highlighted with this Full Moon. Chiron is broadcasting in his final degree of Pisces all that we need to complete as we begin anew in the shamanic fire walk of self expression. This first full moon after the Spring Equinox invokes the Jewish festival of Passover and our current astrological alignments are ideal for the spirit of this festival.
Through the cleansing of the hametz, which can be seen as the hot air of the ego and all that does not serve, we may create space for liberation in our lives. We are consciously on a journey to move from the tight spaces, the places we box ourselves in emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, spiritually, and to create expansion. However liberation is not enough without justice, peace and harmony. Through the Passover seder we embody the process of how we truly tell our journey, our stories. What we tell ourselves becomes what we magnetize. Passover offers a moment in time to witness these narratives and then to edit and delete as we see fit.
This mystical pink moon is offering each one of us our own personal miracle. As the buds on the branches emerge, an awakening of hope springs forth and the vision crystallizes with maximized potential. A miracle is available for all that you wish to birth for the astrological year to come, and the Aries New Moon mid April is the springboard where you may leap. For now, it is the time to witness, to cleanse, to shed and to conjure clarity.
As we are on this path of Victory we must ask ourselves, What am I willing to sacrifice? As we channel the High Priestess, the Universal Priestess we invoke sovereignty.
