Today we welcome the second Libra Full Moon of 2019. Libra is ruled by the planet Venus and today is Friday, known as Venus Day. I spent the day at the Temple of Dendera in Egypt which is dedicated to the Ancient Egyptian Goddess Hathor. Hathor was the original Venus, a goddess of love, fertility, beauty, pleasure, birth, music and dance. She is the Great Mother, the greeter of the dead in the Otherworld and the protector of women. It is an immense privilege to meet these Ancient Gods and Goddesses in their homeland.

‘O beauteous one, O cow, O great one,
O great magician, O splendid lady, O queen of gods!
The King reveres you, Pharaoh, give that he live!
O queen of gods, he reveres you, give that he live!

Behold him, Hathor, mistress from heaven,
See him, Hathor, mistress from lightland,
Hear him, flaming one, from ocean!
Behold him, queen of gods, from sky, from earth
From Nubia, from Libya, from Manu, from Baku,
From each land, from each place where your majesty shines!

Behold what is in his inmost,
Though his mouth speaks not;
His heart is straight, his inmost open,
No darkness in his breast!
He reveres you, O queen of gods,
Give that he live!

These poetic words are part of a hymn to Hathor in the Hall of Offerings at Dendera. May these words offer inspiration to your consciousness on this Libran Full Moon. We are peaking in a two part cosmic journey that is asking each one of us to find the mystical marriage within between the shadow and the light, the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine, and the polarities of our ancient ancestral lineages merging with modernity. This Full Moon also weaves together Passover, a time when one may travel through the narrowness and tribulations for personal liberation. What we most need liberation from is ourselves! This process is about the ultimate surrender, the giving of compete trust to the Otherworld. This has literally been the theme of my life since my first journey to Kemet last October.

These are unprecedented times, and as immense as they feel, we truly have all the tools we need for V I C T O R Y. I send abundant prayers and blessings from the Ancient lands of Egypt that I have been immersed within for the past 11 days. This personal pilgrimage has stretched and nourished me in ways I couldn’t have imagined. The portals are open and the illumination of the starry wisdom is available for each one of us.
