“You can either go after 200 million things and you'll never get what you are running after. Or you can just be there, vibrate, and let things come to you. Be the powerhouse, be the magnet.”

A Woman In Her Power Will Shift The Paradigm Of Our Planet
Ra Ma is a highly observant soul-soother, change-maker and alchemist who loves working with women. The Dalai Lama has said, “The world will be saved by the Western woman.” While many of Ra Ma’s offerings are open to people of all gender identities, one weekly yoga class and other specified gatherings offers a consistent safe space for women to explore herself, her spirit and ancestral lineage, and how her rhythms connect with the rhythms of the moon.
Ra Ma began sitting with women in sacred space over two decades ago. She has sat at the feet of many a woman giving birth and nurtured new mothers as they cared for their newborn children. She has witnessed tears of grief and sorrow as women transmute their pain. Each experience in support of women inspires Ra Ma’s devotion to holding a container for women to heal.
Ra Ma dedicates herself wholeheartedly to being a leader in women’s empowerment. By learning to truly love ourselves, we can truly learn to love and appreciate other women. As the practice of self-love nourishes our appreciation of others, we transform the collective consciousness of our Earth. She is a teacher of teachers. Ra Ma loves inspiring others to embody the language of ritual, to live with devotion.
Ra Ma’s Story
Danielle Marie Goldstein is Ra Ma Kaur. Danielle’s journey as a catalyst and celestial guide began as a tween. By age 14 she received her first deck of tarot, pendulum, crystals and astrology books. Her winding path led to sweat lodges and spiritual gatherings during a gypsy-like childhood on the move. Coming of age in the New Age, Ra Ma spent more time meditating and learning reiki with adults than socializing with her peers.
While earning her BA from Hampshire College, Danielle focused on Paleolithic and Neolithic Goddess culture, Interdisciplinary Art and Media Criticism. Like much of her work, Ra Ma’s art invokes the relationship between woman and the Earth. Ra Ma went on to earn her Post Baccalaureate in Visual Art from SMFA, a Reiki Master Certification, and 200 hour Hatha Yoga Certification at Kripalu School of Yoga.
The night before Danielle graduated from her teacher training at Kripalu she found herself in a Kundalini workshop with world renowned Krishna Kaur. While “tuning in” at the beginning of class, Danielle knew she found her home and that the technology of Kundalini yoga was her lineage.
In 2008, Danielle completed her first Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, a Prenatal Kundalini Training led by Gurmukh. She loved studying and practicing the nuanced, powerful sacred sound science of Mantra. It is said that using a spiritual name will accelerate one’s growth and create capacity to serve self and others. Danielle was given the name Ra Ma Kaur through the technology of Kundalini Yoga.
Ra is the sunlight of the Universe and Ma is the moonlight of the Ethers
Ra Ma continued her study of Kundalini Yoga under Harijiwan, Tej and Guru Jagat who received this technology directly from the Mahan Tantric Yogi Bhajan. Yogi Bhajan brought Kundalini Yoga to the West and he dedicated his life to sharing this technology with the Western woman. He wholeheartedly believed that woman has the power to change the face of our Earth.
Ra Ma studies Daoist Stone Medicine within the Jade Purity Lineage, an oral transmission from Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th Daoist Master. She studied herbalism with Aviva Romm, Susun Weed and Gail Faith Edwards. She explores the art and science of astrology with DK Brainard, Divine Harmony and Demetra George.
In 2018 she continues to cultivate self mastery. She will spend 5 days in a facilitator training with Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Ra Ma is currently enrolled at the University of Wales Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture, studying to receive a MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology. Ra Ma is a mother, a wife and a community lover. She has served on the board of the French Broad Food Coop since 2013. She is also serves as a member of CoThinkk.
